Found

I was going through an old filled up notebook this week before I threw it away. I found a sheet where I had been jotting things down about the kids and thought I should transfer it to a place where it wouldn't get lost in the shuffle. I thought it was interesting because they are all from almost exactly a year ago.

8/16/2010-Beau @ Sweet Corn Days parade
"candy please" to every float, followed by "thank you" ending with 2 1/2 ice cream pails full

8/15/2010 Cora - "Dada"

8/19/2010 - Beau after going potty
"Mom these are the best shorts I ever met!" (I know they were some "comfy" shorts, I think the green and blue gap ones)

8/20/2010 - Beau when exiting hwy 63 on to 52 by Menards
"We have to be careful cuz this is a really big mountain!"

8/24/2010 - Cora - "Mama"

8/24/2010 - Cora crawls for a distance on hands and knees for the first time. (She's been scooting on her belly for about 1 month.

8/14/2010 - Cora pulls up to standing for the fist time and has been pulling up on everything ever since

9/1/2010 - Beau playing with pipe builders
"Mom, look at my Poingo stick"
"You mean pogo stick?"
"NO! Poingo stick!"

8/31/2010 - Beau watching Presidential address
"Mom, is that God?"

9/10/2010 - Beau asks me to help put a ball glove on so he can jump rope

Me: "you can't jump rope with a ball glove on!"
Beau "I can try"
Me: "You're right...Mommy is wrong"
Beau: "Yeah, cuz you always say try!"

I'm sure some of these are repeats of things I already have on the blog, but now I know I can throw this notebook away and continue the process of clearing my counters.
