Well, December 8th was just a tough day for me. Nothing specific, just felt like I was doing more drowning than swimming in the sea of life. I decided to use this project to shift my perspective and highlight 8 things I'm thankful for. Some were specific to the day and some were more general to where I am in life right now. You can see how it came together below.

...and the back. I used the stamp "the reason why" on the bottom of each card as a reminder to myself that these are the reasons why even the tough days are just a part of a truly blessed life. |
The cards read:
1. I am thankful for a home that is full of messes because it is full of love.
2. I am thankful for a husband who works hard to take care of his family.
3. I am thankful for a job that allows me to be home with my kids every day.
4. I am thankful for nights at home with no commitments.
5. I am thankful for coffee.
6. I am thankful for the health of our family.
7. I am thankful that I am injury free and able to run.
8. I am thankful for twinkle lights and the smells of Christmas.
Here's a look at them in the album.
And here is a quick catch up look at days 3 through 7 in the album:
Day 3
I added some extra flip up pages to accommodate some extra journaling and photos here. Thank you to all of those who saved box tops for us :). You can see their choices below!
Day 4
This was just one page vs. a spread.
Day 5
Day 5 is on the other side of day 4, again just a one sided page.
Here's a look at the two days side by side.
Day 6
This was again just one page with a divided page protector I cut down on the other side.
Day 7
I used the other side of the cut page protector here and a transparent divider type page from Ali's kit here.
The majority of the supplies I used in these pages came from Ali's main kit with digital elements from her December Daily shop.
This is a great album! I am looking forward to seeing the rest of it!! Also, that is so cute how your son chose gifts for other people!! Awww
