Our Little Johnny Appleseed

We made our annual trip to the pumpkin patch/apple orchard last weekend. Beau had a blast...actually we all did. It is so crazy to think that on our trip last year we couldn't even get him propped up against a pumpkin long enough to get a picture, and this year he was running all over the place and actually picking apples! This year we got lots of pictures, actually I took over 200 so I'm just going to have to pick and choose a few. We went to Northwoods Orchards , and I highly recommend it to anyone in the Rochester area during the fall season. You can pick your own apples and pumpkins. They have hay rides, 2 corn mazes, and a petting zoo with farm animals. Not to mention all the cute things they have set up all over like growth carts and old tractors! Plus we spent a couple hours there, left with 2 bags of apples, and 5 pumpkins....all for under $30!! We'll definitely be going back next year.

Back from the Zoo

We're back from vacation! The zoo was a big hit. We spent all day Saturday there, and Beau loved looking at all the animals, and being outside with all the people roaming around. They had a little amusement park area that was fun to walk around too. Beau was too little for most of the rides, but they had a "mist" area that he loved. We also took him on the ponies, but he wasn't a big fan. He liked it before the ride started, but by about half way through he was clawing at me frantically until I lifted him off the horse. We rode standing up the rest of the time, and even then he wasn't too comfortable. Other than that he liked everything though. There were lots of oohhs coming from him. We got to see a Sparky the Sea Lion show. Beau liked it a lot, even with all the people around he never took his eyes off Sparky. On Sunday we made a quick trip to the Mall of America. We stopped at Build a Bear, and Beau picked out a turtle and named it Boom. Beau & Boom After...
