Halloween 2016

This Halloween was the beginning of a season of new traditions in our new home.  As we set out trick-or-treating this year I found myself smiling (and being present, yay!) thinking "I want to remember that" .  So instead of a lengthy detailed post I just jotted down all those things I want to remember.   I want to remember: -warm weather with a mist in the air   -Cora joyfully skipping and leading the way -TrickorTreating together as a family, the kids going up to each door together -Sylvie forgetting to say thank you and then yelling it halfway down the driveway as she made her way back to us -later Sylvie remembering to say thank you and then shouting "I said thank you!"  as she made her way back (except the house where she said "you're welcome" instead.  Beau and Cora said why did you say that?  She looked confused and shook her head.  I asked if she was getting confused with all these things to say... "yes!") -...

WITL 2016 - Weekend Edition

Here we go jumping back to May for the final time.  I can tell I was pretty burned out on the project by then because of how few pictures I have and there's NOTHING written down.  I think it's still worth including the little I have in the final product though, so here it goes. Saturday Saturday got off to a chilly start.  My alarm went off at the normal 4:30am, and I was up around 5. A friend and I had made plans to go for a run on some of the Rochester trails.  She picked me up at 7 and we drove to town for a 4 mile run. A pretty typical Saturday morning sight.  The kids sprawled around the house in their "comfys" playing video games and watching TV.  You will not, however, find them sleeping in.  Up with the sun every day of the week. Saturday was a pretty typical day for me too.  By that I mean I had a list  impossible to complete in the time allotted.  Somewhere deep down inside I'm sure I realize this, but I'...
