Johnson Smiles

Cora Mae Johnson arrived on January 23rd at 12:31 AM. We all came home late Sunday morning. She had her first check up visit back at the doctor's today and she is doing great. She is already back up to her birth weight which was 9lbs 4 oz!! We are all adjusting and doing well. Beau is getting used to his sister being here all the time and has been such a good big brother to her. He's always talking to her and saying "I love you Cora". We have had some behavior issues and lots of testing, but he is starting to adjust. Luke and I are learning to live on A LOT less sleep and demonstrating A LOT more patience. So far becoming a family of 4 has been a pretty smooth transition. It is already getting hard to remember what it was like without little miss Cora here.

Just a quick update, Luke and I are at the hospital waiting for baby to arrive. I went in for a non stress test this afternoon and they decided that I was progressed along far enough to keep me here. Turns out I was 5 cm so my doctor was reluctant to send me home when we live a half hour away. Now I'm just trying to keep myself distracted and Luke awake ( hehe ... jk !). Hopefully she doesn't wait to long to join the world!! Stay tuned!

Well this is a picture of me as of yesterday (and trust me I still look like this today, well probably bigger!). Still pregnant and playing the waiting game around here. I'm officially now 2 days PAST my due date. We are all doing our best to be patient, and I'm trying not to dwell on the fact that I will probably be giving birth to a 12 pound toddler! We'll keep you posted!!
