First of all look at all the loot Beau made out with for Valentine's Day....holy cow! Thats ALOT of candy for a 6 month old! Cupid also brought Beau his first tooth!!!! I stuck my finger in his mouth after I cleaned the oatmeal and prunes off his face, and sure enough there was a little tooth sticking through! My baby is growing up so fast...makes my heart hurt. Unfortunately Cupid also brought Beau the croup...BOO CUPID! He sounded rattely when I picked him up from daycare and then during the night he started coughing, which sounded like a seal's bark. So we visited the Dr. and sure enough it's the croup. After the Dr. we had to make a trip to Target to get a humidifier. Can you believe how cute this humidifier is! And then just to make Beau feel better I had to get him these oh so cute shoes. Well okay, maybe they didn't make Beau feel better, but who could resist these!? You'll be happy to hear that a little Tylenol got rid of his fever, and he is feeling some b...

Happy Valentine's Day to everyone, and Happy Birthday to Luke! We were baking fools last night in preperation for this double holiday. Beau gets to have his first Valentine party at daycare today, so we made heart shaped brownies with frosting and sprinkles. I can't wait to see all the cute little Valentines he gets! Luke finished frosting his birthday cake to take to work...(I'm hoping for leftovers, but I won't hold my breath ;). I also made an angel food cake for the birthday boy, and started some beef stew for supper tonight. Like I said baking fools! Mom and Dad are coming up tommorrow to work on the basement (yes I know I still need to post pics...I'll get on that when I'm less busy mastering my culinary skills) so Luke and I both have tommorrow off of work...YEAH!!! And in honor of Valentine's Day here is a list of current loves. I LOVE: ~reaching into my coat pocket for a pair of gloves and pulling out a cute little pair of baby so...

Nothing much to report...I just love this pic of my VERY ticklish baby boy!! Luke and Dad got lots done on the basement on Saturday. I will post pictures soon. Beau is still doing great eating solid food...he has now eaten: oatmeal, bananas, apples, green beans, and peas. He REALLY likes the bananas but unfortunately they don't seem to want to come back out the other end so we're going to have to lay off those for awhile. (I'll make sure to let Beau read this in about 12 years...I'm sure he will appreciate it :)

Beau finally decided he would eat cereal last night. Yep, just like that. We had oatmeal, and I broke the veggi first "rule" and added some bananas. He was a little skeptical at first, but once he gave in and tasted it he was all for it. I would go to scoop up another spoonful, and his mouth was already hanging open waiting for another bite! I was soooo excited. I started going "mmm...yummy" after every bite, and then me started with his mmmm mmmm mmmmm over and over again. Funny stuff. So anyway, he finished the entire bowl of oatmeal, and still wanted more so he ate the rest of the container of straight bananas.
